Our Mission
Houston Cocker Spaniel Rescue was formed by two "seasoned" cocker spaniel owners with over 25 combined years of experience in rescuing dogs. We focus mainly on covering the north Houston area and Montgomery County where there is a dire need; however, we will take dogs from shelters all over the Greater Houston area if we have room. We are a foster-based 501(c)(3) organization. We do not believe in putting dogs in boarding after we pull them from shelters. We feel it is important to put them into foster homes where they will receive the nurturing and love they so desperately need until they find their forever home.
Adoption Policy
All of our dogs are fully vetted (including spayed and neutered) when they are placed in a home. Please consider adopting a pet! With so many homeless animals, adoption is the way to go.....your pet will be forever grateful! Check out our website for more information.

We hold adoption events at the Natural Pawz - Pinecroft location in The Woodlands the first Saturday of every month. We also go to Pampered Paws in Kingwood the third Saturday of each month for adoption events. We participate in most of the dog-related events in our area during the year, such as Spring Bark, PetFest, Paws with Claus, and The Reliant Dog Show, among others.
