Out of the Woods Animal Rescue
Our Mission
Out of the Woods Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization that focuses on rescuing and placing homeless, neglected and medically urgent dogs and cats. We are committed to helping community cats with TNR services and implementing Barn Cat placement programs in our local shelters.
Out of the Woods Rescue is a no-kill organization led by dedicated volunteers. We strive to make every intake have a better quality of life and to know the true meaning of finding their fur-ever home.
Adoption Policy
All interested adopters must fill out an adoption application which includes two personal references as well as a veterinary reference (okay if there is no current veterinarian). All applications are reviewed as they are received. Once approved, a meet and greet will be set up with the opportunity to adopt the same day. A contract is signed by the adopter as well as a member of the Rescue.
