Meet Squiggs
SQUIGGY!
Oh my goodness we cannot say enough amazing things about this little bun!
Squiggs joined us from MADACC where he arrived with a significant injury to his left hind leg which had become severely infected. Since he arrived as a stray we don't know what caused the injury but we are thrilled to help him on his journey to a forever home.
The injury to his leg was so severe that our vet partner recommended amputation as the best long-term solution for Squiggs.
His left hind leg was amputated successfully and he was also neutered at the same time .
Squiggs is doing awesome during recovery and feels SO MUCH BETTER without the painful and swollen infected leg hindering him.
He is THE SWEETEST little guy and just melts into a pancake for pets and snuggles. He is super easy to pick up and would make an awesome addition to nearly any family!
Squiggs will need a low-entry litterbox to help avoid any repetitive injury or development of arthritis in the remaining leg in the future. He will not have any other restrictions or anticipated issues moving forward!
