Whisper, his lionhead companion, is just as sweet but adds a playful and expressive touch — she makes the cutest soft “whispery” little grunts, especially when she’s excited for meals or letting Shadow know she needs a bit of space. It’s a rare and endearing little quirk that makes her extra special.<br/><br/>Together, they are a very calm and low-key pair who are easy to care for and a pleasure to have around. They use their litter box well, are not destructive, and keep a tidy space. They enjoy their hay, greens, and pellets, and are always happy to see you at mealtime.<br/><br/>Shadow and Whisper were owner surrendered to a local shelter and are estimated to be around 4 years old. They have been spayed and neutered, have had their medical exams, and are up to date on their RHDV vaccinations.<br/><br/>Because they are already bonded, Shadow and Whisper keep each other company and bring a quiet, comforting presence to a home. They would be a wonderful match for someone looking for a gentle pair to share their space and daily routine.<br/><br/>They are currently living in a foster home in Virginia, near Virginia Beach -- we plan to move them to Maryland for an adoption event on the 9th and they will stay there afterwards.
