Meet Peter
Peter is a fun, friendly and lovable, two-year-old, five and a half-pound, black and white, male English Spot rabbit looking for a loving guardian.
This guy just begs for attention and enjoys being hand fed leafy greens from your hand. When not supervised he runs around in an exercise pen and uses a litter box just like a cat.
He landed at Chicago Animal Care and Control, so I never had the opportunity to talk to his former human. He may enjoy the company of another rabbit based on personality.
He eats a diet of timothy and orchard hays, and loves his fresh salad: dandelion greens, Romaine, green leaf lettuce, parsley and cilantro and carrot tops with just the tip of the carrot and little cut up pieces of celery. If you’d like to read up on rabbits and their care, please check out: http://www.rabbit.org/
Peter’s adoption fee of $125 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue. He is extremely healthy and neutered. His entire set up including exercise pen, litter box, litter, water bowl, hay and carrying case is available for an additional $100.
To meet and possibly adopt him, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and follow up by contacting friendsofpetraits@gmail.com to make an appointment to meet him.
He is being fostered in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
