Meet Nevill Longbottom!

You’ll probably notice that we don’t know very much about Nevill. We don’t know his age, and we don’t know his breed. But what we do know is the pretty sad story that led to his rescue.

Nevill was dumped in the snow near indigo Ranch in Vernonia. He had a healed slice on one of his ears. He was not neutered.

Nevill found his way over in the snow to one of the buildings and was trying to get into the building when he was spotted by one of the staff. Unfortunately, he was afraid and ran away. It was sooo cold at night. This went on for several days until the staff was able to trick him into running into a crate. by blocking his escape route.

It turns out that while he is a little skittish, he’s actually a very sweet boy. He is held a lot by the female teenager in his foster home.

We’ve had Nevill neutered, and now we want to find him a female BFF. Bunnies do best in spayed/neutered pairs, because let’s face it, every species craves the companionship of their own. Do you have a spayed single looking for a friend? :-)

Adoption Process: We are not first come first served. Indigo Rescue focuses on finding good matches between animals and families to ensure life long adoptions. We deliver all animals to their new homes. All of our animals are in foster homes.

PLEASE NOTE: Indigo Rescue only adopts to homes within 30 miles of Beaverton because our volunteers deliver all of our animals to their adoptive homes. We work very hard to create a family of our Indigo Rescue adopters because we want to be close enough to help in case there are any problems. We want everyone to be happy and successful!
