Meet Izzy: featured pet!!
**These bunnies are fully vaccinated for RHDV**
**Izzy and Eliza are featured pets, so their adoption fee has been sponsored!**
Breed: Izzy: mini lop and Eliza, lionhead/Californian
Size: About 5 lbs at full size
DOB: About two years old as of September 2023
Reason in rescue: This group of bunnies came in after they were taken by our local humane officer from a neglect situation. They were living in absolute filth :(. All of their back teeth were overgrown because they hadn’t had hay and all were missing fur from being covered in fleas and filth. They have been in foster and are now ready to find their forever homes!
Personality: Izzy is a beautiful and typical laid back lop girl. Let me pet her and pick her up with no issues! Eliza is a little more nervous but still very sweet and let me pet her and pick her up. All their hair has grown back and they are gorgeous and fluffy now! They live in a foster with kids and cats and tolerate all of them (though supervision is always recommended). They are very good with their litter box.
Friends: Izzy and Eliza are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.
Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2' for a single, 4 x 4 for a pair). Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption (but can be waived if pictures or video are supplied of where the bunny will be living). Suggested adoption donation is $125 for the pair which includes their spay, vaccine, and microchip.
