Dottie's Story

If you’re looking for a companion who brings all the charm of a kitten with the quiet grace of a house rabbit, look no further than Dottie.

Dottie is a gentle soul who has mastered the art of being the "perfect roommate." She’s a sophisticated girl who knows that life is better when spent lounging on a soft rug and receiving head scratches.

Dottie would thrive in a peaceful environment where she can be a central part of the family. Because she is so gentle, she would be a wonderful companion for a first-time rabbit owner or someone looking for a "work-from-home" supervisor.

She’s vaccinated, spayed, and waiting to find the "some-bunny" special who will give her all the forehead kisses she deserves.

Please visit our website for adoption policy and procedure. www.ccrronline.org

Contra Costa Rabbit Rescue's Adoption Policy
Indoors only *Households with Dogs: If your household has a dog, You will be required to bring your dog to meet the rabbits before being approved for adoption. Why? Not all rabbits feel comfortable around dogs and not all dogs are safe around rabbits. We want to make sure that both animals will be okay living together. *Households with Children: All children living in the household where the bunny will reside will be required to come and meet the bunnies before being approved for adoption. Parents please keep in mind bunnies are not pets for children to learn responsibility. Children under the age of 5 to 6 may not be mature enough to interact with a rabbit safely. Rabbits are ground dwelling animals that do not like to be picked up or cuddled. Your children need to understand this.
