Daisy's Story
Meet Daisy Blossoming One Day at a Time

Quick Facts:
Age: Adult
Gender: Female
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Litter Trained: Working on it
Good With: Children, cats, and dogs

Daisy's journey has been nothing short of remarkable. She came to the Oswego County SPCA from a severe hoarding situation, terrified of the world around her and unsure whether people could be trusted. When she first arrived in foster care, we weren't sure if she would ever be comfortable being touched or spending time near people.

Today, Daisy is blossoming into the bunny she was always meant to be.

With patience, consistency, and love, she has learned that people can be kind. She now enjoys gentle pets and happily spends time near her family. She has become increasingly comfortable around cats and dogs and does well with children. Daisy has adjusted nicely to the sounds and activity of a busy household, though she still appreciates having a quiet place where she can retreat and relax when she needs some peace.

When she's not lounging in her favorite cozy spot, Daisy loves exploring, running through tunnels, and playing with toys. She especially enjoys cat toys and having time outside of her enclosure to stretch her legs and investigate her surroundings. She is currently working on her litter box habits and continues to make progress every day. Watching her confidence grow has been one of the most rewarding parts of her foster journey.

Daisy is looking for a family that understands that trust takes time. She may not be the bunny who hops right into your lap on day one, but for someone willing to be patient, the reward is watching her continue to bloom into the wonderful companion she is becoming.

If Youre Thinking About Adopting Me, I Think You Should Know...

The world used to feel very big and very scary. Now I'm learning that it can also be full of kind people, cozy places, and fun things to explore. I still like having a quiet spot to call my own, but I also love tunnels, toys, and spending time near the people I trust. Every day I get a little braver, a little more confident, and a little more curious. If you're willing to give me the time I need, I'll keep blossoming right alongside you.

To help Daisy go From Foster to Forever, apply today at www.oswegocountyspca.org/adoption-application.html

Important Adoption Information

When you submit your application:

Please notify your veterinarian that we will be calling and that its okay to speak with us. If you dont currently have a vet, please identify which one youll be using and set up care so we can confirm your new pet will receive medical attention when needed.

For pets already in the home:

Because the number of homeless animals in our area is so large, we adopt only to homes where current pets are spayed or neutered, with documented medical exceptions. We also require that all resident pets be up to date on their vaccinations to ensure everyone stays healthy and safe.

Keep in mind:

We are 100% foster-based and 100% volunteer-operated. Our team works hard to process applications as quickly as possible. Please be patient but if you dont hear back within a few days, message us on Facebook to confirm your application went through.
