Cindy Lou's Story

Hello there, friend! I’m Cindy Lou,
A once-tiny bunny whose heart grew and grew.
I was born in the wild when my mama was lost,
And surviving out there came at quite a high cost.

My heart back then was shrunk up tight—
A scared little thing, not filled with much light.
But the rescue stepped in (just like Whos sometimes do!),
And slowly my heart grew three sizes—it’s true!

I love tasty pellets and salads each day,
And timothy hay is the ONLY hay—
(If you offer orchard grass, I’ll give you a stare
Just like the Grinch when they asked him to cut one more roast beast share.)

I do best where life’s gentle, calm, quiet, and kind,
With a human who doesn’t mind giving me time.
At first I’m quite timid, but once I feel right,
I’ll boop you, floor snuggle, and zoom with delight.

I adore a hidy box cozy and grand—
My own little Who-house, the best in the land.
My litter box skills? Why, they’re nearly pristine,
With a few cocoa puffs sprinkled to keep my space clean.

I’m curious about bunnies and may love a friend,
Someone soft-hearted like me, on whom I can depend.

So if you want a sweet bunny who’ll brighten your view,
And maybe make your heart grow three sizes too...
Well then—
I think you’ve just found your Cindy Lou.

*RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed

on a case-by-case basis.*

I would love to have an opportunity to meet you to see if we can be a good match. If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com.

Gender: Female

Approximate Age: 8/30/2023

Approximate Weight: 4.6 lbs

Adoption Fee: $100.00 (+tax)

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.

If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.

Why, they’re nearly pristine,
With a few cocoa puffs sprinkl

I’m curious about bunnies and may love a friend,
Someone soft-hearted like me, on whom I can depend.

So if you want a sweet bunny who’ll brighten your view,
And maybe make your heart grow three sizes too...
Well then—
I think you’ve just found your Cindy Lou.
