Bulbasaur's Story

Who is the bun who likes to sit at a window to soak up the sun? It's Bulbasaur! Bulbasaur came to HRS from the Santa Calra County Animal Shelter. He is a calm and sweet boy who love quiet naps, puzzle games (with treats of course!) and spending quality time getting pets. He enjoys interacting with people and would love for you to visit him. Bulbasaur would make an excellent addition to any family, big or small.

Here is what Bulbasaur's most recent foster said about him:

"In our experience, Bulbasaur was a super sweet bunny. He ate well, and loved almost everything we offered him. He especially loved when we gave him special pieces of apple and strawberry as treats. As you know from our past thread, he was timid to exit his cage. We wonder if this could have been him just being a very cautious bunny. At the very end of the 2 weeks, he finally started venturing out a bit more and really wanted to go under our couch and our shelves or between small spaces. We have a cat, so that could have been a factor. We had a couple of instances where he got jumpy - when the cat was nearby, and when my partner walked by the sliding glass door where his cage was nearby (I think he didn't expect it lol). I noticed he liked sunbathing, in the little hour or so when the sun hit part of his cage. And he seemed to love pets on the cheek, and were pretty good around both our 8 year and our 2 year old."

Bulbasaur is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated against RHDV2 (vaccine needs to be administered annually). House Rabbit Society recommends all rabbits see a rabbit-savvy veterinarian once a year.

Submit an adoption application for Bulbasaur at houserabbit.org.
