BON-BON*'s Story
Meet Bon-Bon, the black female rabbit. She came in with her bunny buddy, Truffle. She arrived a bit scared and shy, but we have given her time to get used to her safe space and she is truly living up to her sweetly inspired name. The rabbit who didn’t want to leave her kennel is now excited to come out for TLC. She is mastering her binkies and is realizing she likes to the idea of snuggling up next to her human friends! Truffle and Bon Bon were outdoor bunnies in their prevous home, but we recommend having them live indoors to keep them safe and healthy. These girls need a loving home who can be patient with them as they acclimate and enjoy their rambunctous energy! They have lived together before, but they are independant ladies who can go to different homes. Truffle is available for preadoption - come meet her, fall in love and take her home after her spay surgery! Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
