Bernie (South Surrey)'s Story

**Bernie is now in a home, bonding with another bunny.**

Bernie joined the VRRA family when his owner could not care for him anymore. Bernie is a lionhead/lop with very thick fur which will need regular grooming. His date of birth was given as October 2021.

He’s a beautiful rabbit both inside and out — mellow, sweet, and easy to handle. He’s litter trained and will make a good house rabbit in the right home.

His favourite herb is dill (loves it!).

We are still learning about this handsome boy. He’d be better suited to a rabbit-savvy home because of the grooming involved. We are not sure how he is with other animals but we do know he’s interested in other rabbits.

The adoption fee is $75 per rabbit ($150 for a pair). Please do your research and if you're interested in any of our rabbits, go to www.vrra.org to fill in our adoption application. We follow the House Rabbit Society adoption policies. For everything you need to know about caring for a bunny, visit the House Rabbit Society website at: www.rabbit.org. We strongly encourage all prospective bunny adopters to pick up a copy of “The House Rabbit Handbook: How to Live with an Urban Rabbit,” available from most online sellers (e.g., Amazon) as well at our shelter.
