Babette's Story

Female, Champagne D’Argent
DOB: estimated early 2024

This sweet bunn is Babette! She came to us as a stray and gave birth to a litter of little loves shortly after being rescued. Now that her babies are old enough, Babette is ready for a home of her very own!

Her foster mama says, "Babette would be best in a home she would be able to free roam in. She is allowed on the second floor of my house during the day when I'm home and she does amazing. She has no destructive tendencies and mainly snoozes, does her foraging toys, and occasionally zooms. She likes to hang out and be part of whatever you're doing. She has never peed outside the litter box and always poops either in or directly next to it. She is very affectionate but mainly one way (you pet her). She gets along great with my two cats, the four of us have movie nights on my bed. I think she would be a great candidate for bunny speed dating, she even asks my cats to groom her. Her current favorite treat is sunflower microgreens. She is not easily spooked and has done very well with being picked up when necessary."

Luv-N-Bunns's Adoption Policy
Please note that we only adopt to indoor homes and rarely adopt out to homes with children under 7 years of age and we carefully consider other pets, although we do have many Luv-N-Bunns bunnies in loving homes with children, cats, dogs, and various other animals. The first step is to fill out and return the adoption application to this email address. Since we don’t have a main facility and all of our bunnies are housed in a network of private foster homes, it takes some coordination to visit them. We are a network of volunteers that all have regular, full time jobs during the day, so we work around those schedules. Once approved, we’ll have you come meet the bunnies you’re interested in and hopefully fall in love/adopt! Our adoption fee is $95 for one bunny and $96 for a bonded pair. If you are looking to adopt a rabbit as a companion to your currently owned rabbit, your rabbit must be spayed/neutered before considering this process.

Our Mission
If you are looking to surrender a rabbit to us, please note that our rescue is currently beyond capacity. At the moment, we have approximately a 6-8 month wait on intake of new bunnies. What we can do is have your bunny neutered/spayed, post your bunny(ies) on petfinder, and begin screening applicants for their new family i...
