If you are looking to surrender a rabbit to us, please note that our rescue is currently beyond capacity. At the moment, we have approximately a 6-8 week wait on intake of new bunnies. What we can do is post your bunny(ies) on petfinder and begin screening applicants for their new family immediately. All we need from you are 3 good pictures of the bunny(ies) and all pertinent info (name of bunny, age, breed, temperament, *neutered/spayed*?) We will create a file for your bunny and add you to our waiting list. Once we have a foster spot secured (or a new family, which ever comes first) we will bring your bunny in! In addition, we do ask a donation for private relinquishments.
An intake donation of $60 is required for us to take your bunny to the vet. This donation goes directly toward the cost of spaying/neutering these bunnies so that we can adopt them out.
Please note that we only adopt to indoor homes and are careful about adopting to homes with children and other animals. (Although we do have many Luv-N-Bunns bunnies in loving homes with children, cats, dogs, and various other animals.)
The first step is to fill out and return the adoption application to this email address. Since we don’t have a main facility and all of our bunnies are housed in a network of private foster homes, it takes some coordination to visit them. We are a network of volunteers that all have regular, full time jobs during the day, so we work around those schedules. Once approved, we’ll have you come meet the bunnies you’re interested in and hopefully fall in love/adopt!
Our adoption fee is $65 for one bunny and $66 for a bonded pair. If you are looking to adopt a rabbit as a companion to your currently owned rabbit, your rabbit must be spayed/neutered before considering this process.
