Hi, Cedar here! I came into care after being born to a feral, stray dog. I hadn't met any people before that and was very afraid of them at first, but I've learned that they can be really nice. Now I'm ready for the next part of my journey with a family of my own!

I am a sweet dog who loves other dogs, no matter their size. I play with my doggie foster sister all the time and would benefit from having another dog in my adoptive home, one that was just as playful as I am! I also get along with cats and even lived with some for a while. I've done really well with the kids I have met, too. I used to be pretty shy with new people, but I'm more confident with people now and only take a little bit of extra time to warm up to some men. Once I know you, I'm a total snuggle bug!

I love food! I get very excited at mealtimes and like to monitor the distribution of the food into the bowls. Sometimes I get so excited that I let out a bark! When I do that you know I am really excited, because normally I am not much of a barker. I have made some great progress on my training and learn really fast! I am a sponge and love to learn new things. I would do best with a family that will keep me mentally stimulated as well as physically exercised - I never want my learning to be done! I am pretty well kennel trained and don't have accidents much anymore. I would benefit from a family who would help me perfect my leash manners.
