Hi, I’m Sparky! I was surrendered from a northern community that MUR works very closely with and now I’m looking for my forever home. Do you find your lap is a little cold? Then you’ve gotta meet me! It’s my favourite place to be! And snuggles? Well, my foster mom calls me Snuggle-Bot 2000, so if that’s your thing, you've REALLY gotta meet me.

I've had a bit of a rough start to life. I was hit by a car a long time ago and one of my legs healed kinda funny, but it doesn't slow me down! I still love to play with my furry friends and go for daily walks to help keep that leg moving. All I need is a 20 second stretch each day to keep that leg feeling good. I'd also be happy in a house with very few stairs, or a pal that's willing to carry me up and down them to keep stress of that leg of mine.

I’d love to go to a home that has other respectful dog friends for me to play with. I love my furry bothers and sisters, in fact, they really help me come out of my shell and boost my confidence, but I’m not a big fan of other dogs that get in my face too rudely or intensely. I’m great with kids! But, since I’m a little guy, I’d probably be happier in a home that has children of an older age that are a little sturdier on their feet. I'm also good with cats, and am house broken and kennel trained.
