Nero here! I came into care a while ago and knew nothing about being a family dog. Boy, have I ever come a long way! I love my new life and have really settled in to indoor living.

I am very loving and get along great with the kids in my home. I'm excited to see every person I meet and am very friendly. I also love my doggie foster brother and we play together all the time. I'm pretty smart and have learned to use the cone I had to wear for a while to my advantage when I wrestled with him! You should know that I love to be outside and would hang out in the yard for hours, regardless of the weather. If you're up for it, I'd love to do some outdoor activities with you - maybe we could go snowshoeing or for hikes in the summer!

I haven't been around cats, so I'm really not sure if we would be friends. I've totally gotten the hang of being in the kennel and don't mind going in there at all! I am nearly housebroken and have gotten a good start on learning to walk nicely on a leash, but my new family will have to continue to teach me my leash manners. I would also love if my new family would take me to some sort of obedience class, where I could meet new friends and learn some commands, all while bonding with my people.
