Hey there BooBoo...it's Yogi. Yes, my name is Yogi and my foster mom calls me Yogi Bear. I am a mix with very little bichon in me. Mom says "you're a bichon, poodle and something but whatever you are you're a really sweet boy". I'll be 7 years old in February so I'm still a young lad. As you can see by my
pictures I'm a pretty big boy and quite strong so anybody interested in loving me should keep that in mind. I get along really well with all of the other animals in my foster home...especially Pete who likes to play with me. He's a little bichon boy and the two of us playing together is quite a sight. I really need to have at least one dog to keep me company, otherwise I get upset if I'm left alone. Yogi's ideal home would be one where a human companion is around nearly 24/7 with a fenced in yard.

Yogi's former mom and dad had to work full time and in addition his mom was having some physical problems to deal with so they really didn't have much time for Yogi. He really is a nice
boy but he is quite large so if you're looking for a little bichon-sized dog don't even consider him.
He doesn't know he's different from the other bichons in the house and sits on my chair with me
and sleeps next to me at night just like the others do.

He seems to have a poodle coat but he is mixed with another breed so if allergies are a concern,
keep that in mind.

Yogi is neutered and up to date on shots.

Pls. read the top of our application for further info. about our fees.An important note about tie-outs!More & more lately we've noticed a trend toward using tie-outs. Many people believe that tie-outs are a cheap alternative to fencing their yards when they are considering adding a dog to their family. These people also don't have the time to WALK their dogs the four or five times a day they would need to in order to avoid housetraining accidents. We believe that tie-outs are a dangerous method of providing your dog with outdoor time. Bichons and similar breeds are small and would be "sitting ducks" for other, more aggressive animals. They also would have no defense against unkind PEOPLE who might pass by... so tie outs are out of the question for these little guys! They need the security of a fenced yard or an owner at the opposite end of their leashes to protect them from the dangers of the outdoors! We hope you will understand that we are only looking out for the safety of our dogs when we say that we have a policy against placing dogs in homes where tie-outs will be utilized.
