Daniel Tabby Mix Manhattan, KS

This is Daniel, as in Daniel and the lions den. Daniel was rescued by a good samaritan who found him after he had been attacked by an unknown animal. He had some deep bites and scratches and some were infected and abscessed. He became a Purple PAWS cat and was taken to the veterinarian who cleaned his wounds and got him on the right track to recovery. Daniel has healed well and is ready to find his furever home.
Daniel is a very friendly boy who loves his people and enjoys being pet. He lets you pick him up and will lounge on your lap. He gets along well with the other cats in his foster home. He mostly ignores the dogs but will walk around among them without fear or any aggressive actions. He likes to find high places like window sills or cat trees to lay and watch the action around him.
Daniel is an orange tabby neutered male approximately 2 years old. He is very good with using the litter box and has been allowed to freely roam in his foster home. He is up-to-date on his vaccinations. However he did test positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). Daniel needs to be an indoor cat due to his FIV. He would do best in a home either as an only cat or with other non-aggressive cats. He would do well in a home with non-aggressive dogs, as well. It will be important to remain current on all his vaccinations.
