Polo Hound Manhattan, KS

Polo was found as a stray in Pott. County, we were contacted, and I couldn't wait to foster him as soon as I saw his picture. The vet thinks he is about 18 mon ths old, weighs 48lbs, is heartworm negative, neutered, and up to date on all his shots. POLO loves people and can't wait to greet everyone he meets which involves jumping and hugging which we have been discouraging. He is very dog friendly and joyfully chases the cat and doesn't understand why she won't play with him. I am working on his leash manners as he pulls and has trouble adapting to my slower pace as he would rather be running. Polo is very loving and loves to snuggle after his playtime. Polo would do best with a large area to run and would definitely love a playmate. He does like to please his people and can be corrected but is still puppy and forgets himself when excited. He is a counter surfer but respects the water spray bottle and is getting better. Polo has no idea how big he' is and thinks he should be a lap dog and tries to get as close as he can. Polo has the potential to become the best dog ever and a perfect loving companion.
