Meet Suzie! Suzie came to CCHS as a stray. Her birthday is around 6/1/2020 and she weighed 52 pounds on 6/1/2022. Suzie is one of those dogs that wants to be the only pet in the home. She was adopted for a couple of days but was aggressive with the cats so she came back. The family that adopted her had this to say: Suzie is a very sweet dog. She needs leash training, is stubborn and might run off if loose. Other than that, she is very affectionate, sweet and lovable. She does well in a kennel, especially at night and is quiet then. She would do best with kids that are out of the toddler stage.

Adoption fee has been sponsored! Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
