*And I am loving and lovable, though shy and timid. It takes me a while to warm up to new people. But give me time, and I will come to trust you.
Hi, my name is Heidi. I’m a seven-year-old spayed Border Collie?/terrier mix. I am up-to-date on all vaccinations, Heart Worm and Flea & Tick meds. I’m house, kennel, and leash trained. I weigh between 35 – 40 pounds.
As a former hoarder dog, I have a few idiosyncrasies – I tend to be withdrawn so my foster parents set aside time every day to play socialization games with me. I love the treats.
I have four smaller foster fur sisters and we all get along really well. I am cautious around larger dogs; especially larger, more aggressive dogs.
I love going on walks and riding in the car. I’ll walk right by your side, not pulling to get ahead or lagging behind. I love hanging out with my fur sisters whether we are lounging around on the couch or guarding the backyard.

A loving, patient family who is home more than they are gone

A fenced yard – I like the security of knowing my limits
