Meet Waffle
Meet Waffle! Waffle is about 1-2 years-old and 20-pounds. This poor guy came to us from a hoarding situation in Tennessee where they rescued 48 dogs in very poor health and terrible conditions.
Waffle is an adorable short-legged cuddle machine. He loves to be chased, to play fetch, and to run around the yard with the resident dogs.
He's a timid around people at first and once he gets to know you, he will follow you endlessly — he wants to know what's going on everywhere, all the time.
He's most definitely a people dog. He's gentle and sweet — eager to cuddle on the couch, in bed, wherever the people are. He seems to be a bit scared of loud noises, so older kids are probably a better fit.
He will need someone who is patient and will also take the time to train him. He'll need work on manners and obedience. The leash is a completely alien concept for him at this point.
Waffle is the kind of dog who will spend every afternoon running around the yard and every evening lovingly cuddling you as you make your way through the Netflix backlog. He's waiting for the perfect forever home!

Dogs from Underdog Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
Spay/Neuter
Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella Vaccinations (as age appropriate-puppy adopters may need to cover some vaccine boosters OR they have the option of bringing the pet to Underdog for complimentary completion of these vaccines)
Heartworm Test (for dogs over 6mo)
Microchip
Deworming
Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian
Our adult dog adoption fee is $275. Our puppy (under 5 mo) is $350. Our senior dog (over 8 yrs) is $250.
*Please note that all breeds noted are estimates or best guesses. We very rarely have information on our animals' actual breeds since they often come to the shelters we work with as strays*
