Meet Sage

Sage was someone's pet once but she was abandoned and left to fend for herself. She was beat up by the feral colony she was around and a nice woman took her in on her porch. She found a home for her, but sadly that home's cat did not appreciate Sage's need to be around people at all times and she was getting beaten up there as well and they decided to give her up.

Sage absolutely loves to be near you all the time. She will gladly sit in your lap and tell you a story. She loves wet food, or any food for that matter and will follow you around happily. She sleeps at her foster moms feet every night and gets along well with all the other foster cats. She is especially found of the 13 week old kitten who she follows around and baths constantly.

Sage is an older girl, possibly 10. We believed early on that Sage had Asthma, but after two months with no issues, we think the issues she was having were related to the infection in her uterus which thankfully is gone now since she was spayed. It literally saved her life to spay her.

I have received several inquires about Sage being hypoallergenic. I sadly can not say for certainty whether she is or not. I would recommend a meet and greet to be sure.

Please consider giving this old gal a forever home to live out the rest or her days, she is the perfect lap warmer on our CNY winter nights.

An application, including character references from non-relatives, one of whom should be your veterinarian, will be required. Your donation of $65 will contribute to the cost of veterinary treatments the cat has received, such as spay/neuter, rabies shot, distemper shot, worming medication, and flea and ear mite treatment.
