Hello! My name is Opie! I'm the longest resident of the Chippewa Humane Association. I have been at the shelter since February of 2018. I came to the shelter as a stray, but I have learned to love humans and I respond to my name! When you say "Hi, Opie!" I know that you're talking to me and I will respond back. You might be wondering why I've been here so long, and the truth is that I have some poop issues, most likely IBS. I'm pretty good at using my litterbox, but sometimes I don't make it in time. The lovely humans at Chippewa Humane are trying to resolve my issues through diet changes and we are seeing some progress! I would love for you to come and visit me, I adore the attention!

To meet Opie in person please stop by the shelter on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday during our normal business hours. Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday doesn't work for you?
