8.5 Year Old Standard Grey Female Chinchilla #2 Chinchilla Chinchilla Wolcott, IN

We have a standard grey female chinchilla who’s looking for a home. We have down that she was born around 1/2011, which means she is now 8.5 years old, almost 9 years old. We have two standard grey females that are the same age, this one is #2! Even at almost 9 years old, this is a great time to take her home (is there ever really a bad time?).

This female is a standard grey, which means she has the salt and pepper grey coloring over her back, with a white belly. This is the classic color in chinchillas!

This girl is super sweet, and we’re not yet sure why she hasn’t found a home yet! She’s a very sweet, very outging girl. She will come right up to the front of the cage, repeatedly, to check out what is going on and see what you’re doing. She doesn’t automatically move away when you go to catch her, provided you don’t move too fast. She can be a bit energetic, even at 9 years old, at times, but once you’re holding her in your arms she is a total sweetheart. Don’t pass this one up because she’s not a spring chicken, you wouldn’t know she’s 9 if we didn’t tell you! She would likely enjoy playtime as she is curious, but also has a cuddly side as well. She doesn’t bite.

She would make a great “first chinchilla” for someone who’s never had one before.

This chinchilla is currently caged alone. However, if you interested in pairing her up with your, or one of our, chinchillas, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

This chinchilla will come with some food to start you out (Tradition pellets), a goodie bag of chews/treats, and a printed out version of our care packet. She will also come with a lifetime of help and support, should you ever need it. If more supplies are needed, we also sell a variety of chinchilla supplies, from cages to hidey houses to hammocks and everything in between.

Regardless of past chinchilla experience, all potential homes will be asked to read our chinchilla care packet and fill out our adoption application/chinchilla questionnaire. If you are unwilling to do this, please do not waste our time or yours. No chinchilla will go to a new home without an adoption application being filled out - no exceptions.

The adoption fee for this standard grey female chinchilla #2 would normally be $75, but due to our Nippy November Sale, you can adopt her between now and the end of the year for $65!! Must be adopted or have a deposit down by December 31st (yes, December) to qualify for the sale price.
