Health
Vaccinations up to date, spayed / neutered, special needs. Homer has idiopathic rhinosinusitis (or chronic inflammation of his nasal passages). We believe he suffered from a severe upper respiratory infection a long time and it caused permanent damage. Homer's teeth were also in terrible shape (possibly from his infection) and they were all removed. His ongoing care is very easy and inexpensive, with just a one prednisone and 2.5 mg of cetirizine daily mixed in a little wet food.

Meet Homer

While we do not know Homer's exact history, we believe his story starts off very sad. He was found as a stray wearing a collar. His owners never came for him at Animal Control. He was very sick and his teeth were rotting. After all Homer had gone through, all he wanted was to cuddle and be loved. Yoga4Cats was able to transfer Homer and give him the care he needed to recover, including removal of his painful teeth. His condition is now easily manageable, and he would make a great family pet! We actually have no clue how old he really is... so we are calling him 10 years old. He has learned to play and loves it! Homer eats dry kibble with no problem and gets a little wet food to easily take his once per day medication.

Homer is FeLV/FIV negative, dewormed, free of fleas, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $25.
