Meet Orion
Orion came to the rescue as a transfer from the UT rescue for more one on one training so he can learn to be the best little GSP for his next home. His approx. DOB is 10/24/17. So he is almost 2!
He was a stray as he had road rash when he originally arrived at the UT rescue. He has been in the doggy day care facilities in UT since 04/2019. So he is well socialized and gets along great with other dogs.
He has never been in a house before. So getting used to all the noises of a TV, dishwasher, laundry etc. We are working on potty training. He will kennel right up and lay down in there and chew on his bones. He loves his toys, and will prance around in the yard carrying them waiting for one of the other dogs to play with him or for a person to play fetch.
He is well on his way to being ecollar recall trained among basic obedience. He is a short stout guy at 45lbs and 22.5in at his withers.
