COM Labrador Retriever Mix Lincoln, NE

Hi Everyone! I'm Com, aka Little Man, as my foster family likes to call me. I'm a pretty typical happy-go-lucky puppy. I really love treats, squeaker toys, and playing tug of war with my foster dog siblings. I'm also a champion snuggler! I want to be close to my foster family to get as much snuggle time as I can.

I know how to sit, I come when I'm called and I'm working on laying down. I'm almost completely potty trained too. I'm okay in a kennel and my foster mom makes me go in there when she's not home because I think pillows are toys and want to chew on them. They are soft and stuffed like my dog toys so how am I supposed to know they aren't toys!? I don't mind being in my crate, though.

I'm still not sure about car rides but I'm getting some good practice in lately so that helps. I walk nicely on a leash and am happy to meet new dogs and new people, including kids. I'm curious about the resident cats but in a playful way, not a predatory way.

I would love to find a home that either has a doggy playmate for me or that can keep me active with walks, playtime, camping, or any fun things like that. I'm being fostered with my mom (her name is Dot) so if you're looking for a dynamic duo, check us both out! If not, I'll miss her but I know I will bond quickly with my new family. Com is a male Labrador Retriever/Border Collie mix, weighs 45 pounds and was born approximately 3-15-19. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
