Olive Chinchilla Chinchilla Wolcott, IN

NIPPY NOVEMBER SALE!! ADOPT ME BY THE END OF DECEMBER FOR $75!!

We have a hetero beige male chinchilla that is looking for his new home. His name is Olive! He was originally adopted out a couple years ago, but unfortunately, due to no fault of his own, that home didn’t work out, and he’s back here at the rescue looking for another home. We have down that he was born around 9/2013, which means he’s just turned 6 years old! Great time to add him to your family!

Olive’s color is called hetero beige. This is the darker of the two beige colors in chinchillas. He has a dark beige color over most of his body and back, with a nice white belly.

Olive is a super sweet boy. He’s relatively easy to scoop up into your arms and he does great with being handled and petted. He sits pretty nicely in your arms when you’re holding him, and he’s actually very sweet. He doesn’t bite.

Olive is currently living alone, and we do not know if he gets along with other chinchillas. If you are curious as to whether he may get along with one of our, or one of your, chinchillas, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

This chinchilla would make a great “first chinchilla” for someone who’s never had chinchillas before.

This chinchilla will come with some food to start you out (2 pounds of Tradition pellets), a goodie bags of chews/treats, and a printed out version of our care packet. He will also come with a lifetime of help and support, should you ever need it. If more supplies are needed, we also sell a variety of chinchilla supplies, from cages to hidey houses to hammocks and everything in between.

Regardless of past chinchilla experience, all potential homes will be asked to read our chinchilla care packet and fill out our adoption application/chinchilla questionnaire. If you are unwilling to do this, please do not waste our time or yours. No chinchilla will go to a new home without an adoption application being filled out - no exceptions.

Olive is located at our rescue location in Hammond, Indiana (46324). Sorry, we do not ship.
