4 month old silver mosaic female chinchilla kit (baby) Chinchilla Chinchilla Wolcott, IN

We have a silver mosaic female chinchilla who’s looking for her new home. She came to NWI just a bit ago, and is now ready to leave and go to a family of her own. She was born 3/11/19, so she’s just now 4 months old. Perfect time to bring her home!

Her color is silver called mosaic, which is an overall white base color, with silver shading. As you can see from her pics, she’s got a white base color with a lot of silvery shading, with a white belly. She’s got some darker silvery shading on her head, tail, and hind legs, while the rest of her body is a silvery and white mix. Super neat looking!

She is super cute and fluffy! We absolutely love this girl! She is super easy to pick up, and loves to chill with you when you pick her up. She likes for you to have a looser grip when holding her, and she will sit much nicer for you, if you don’t restrict her movement so much. With a looser hold, she will just chill! She does pretty well with being handed and petted, though sometimes she does move away a bit when you pet her. More interaction and handling will help this, and we’re working on this for you! You can continue loving on her and improving her conficence when you get her home! She just needs to learn that humans = good! Super super sweet girl, we could just sit and pet her all day. Doesn’t bite.

She would make a great “first chinchilla” for someone who’s never had one before.

This chinchilla is currently caged alone. However, if you interested in pairing her up with your, or one of our, chinchillas, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

This chinchilla will come with some food to start you out (Tradition pellets), a goodie bag of chews/treats, and a printed out version of our care packet. She will also come with a lifetime of help and support, should you ever need it. If more supplies are needed, we also sell a variety of chinchilla supplies, from cages to hidey houses to hammocks and everything in between.

Regardless of past chinchilla experience, all potential homes will be asked to read our chinchilla care packet and fill out our adoption application/chinchilla questionnaire. If you are unwilling to do this, please do not waste our time or yours. No chinchilla will go to a new home without an adoption application being filled out - no exceptions.
