Full Description: My name is Inara and I am part of the last group of Samoyeds rescued from Whitefire Kennels, a large-scale breeder in Manly, IA. In the last year, over 300 dogs have been rescued from this facility and the breeder was convicted of 14 counts of animal neglect. The shelter staff have worked tirelessly to find homes for me and my special rescued friends where we will be treated as beloved family pets and not as livestock. If you’re interested in adopting me, the requirements are:

-a completed Adoption Application (found under the “Application Forms” tab).
-previous or current Samoyed breed experience.
-all pets in home must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccines.
-approved adoptions must be completed in person. We do not ship or transport dogs; you must come to our shelter to adopt a Samoyed.
-I require one or more other dogs in the home to help me adjust, feel more comfortable, and learn from.

Adoption fee covers the following veterinarian services: spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccinations, flea and dewormer treatment, feline leukemia/FIV test in cats, and heartworm test for dogs.
