Meet Crinkle
We have a extra dark ebony male chinchilla that is looking for his new home. We call him Crinkle! Can you tell why? Crinkle was born 1/15/16, which makes him 3.5 years old. Great time to take him home!
Crinkle’s color is called extra dark ebony, sometimes referred to as homo ebony. This makes him a shiny black color all over his entire body, including his belly!
Crinkle can be an active boy when you go to pick him up, but he’s actually relatively easy to pick up and handle. He’s not keen on being held tighly, he prefers a looser grip and loves to sit on your open arm. If you’re holding him loosely, he will chill with you for short periods of time. He may enjoy playtime, as he is a bit more on the active side. He’s a sweet boy. Doesn’t bite.
Crinkle would be a great chinchilla for someone who’s never had one before, provided they understand that he is a bit more on the active side.
This chinchilla will come with some food to start you out (2 pounds of Tradition pellets), a goodie bags of chews/treats, and a printed out version of our care packet. He will also come with a lifetime of help and support, should you ever need it. If more supplies are needed, we also sell a variety of chinchilla supplies, from cages to hidey houses to hammocks and everything in between.
Regardless of past chinchilla experience, all potential homes will be asked to read our chinchilla care packet and fill out our adoption application/chinchilla questionnaire. If you are unwilling to do this, please do not waste our time or yours. No chinchilla will go to a new home without an adoption application being filled out - no exceptions.
