Meet Coosa
Such a beautiful and deserving girl, always wearing the biggest smile, and with a name that is just fun to say! Coosa!
Soft coloring to match her gentle personality, her name means rippling water. She inherited her beautiful soul from her momma, who is an absolute sweetheart! Mom has found her forever home, now it's time for Coosa. Sadly, due to pet overpopulation in the South, even amazing pups like Coosa get overlooked. So, she is taking the long journey to Upstate New York, where she has heard people are kind and will be excited to welcome her to their family! Coosa is approximately 5 months old, and the benefits of adopting a slightly older puppy...she is house-trained, easy on the leash, crate-trained and sleeping through the night! Her mom resembled a petite Yellow Lab, and we suspect Coosa is a blend of Yellow Lab and one of the sporting hound breeds. Fully grown, she will likely be medium in size, 45 - 50 pounds. Coosa is excellent with other dogs and loves everyone she meets!
Coosa is available in NY through the Go North Program of The Lucky Puppy Rescue centered in Bonifay and Panama City, FL (NY Lic #1054). The $375 adoption fee includes transportation from FL to NY, spay surgery, vaccinations, de-worm, flea prevention and heartworm prevention.
