Lovebug (Bug) Pit Bull Terrier Mix Bettendorf, IA

Love Bug came to us from a transfer team after being hit by a car. He is approximately 8 years young and full of spunk. This loveable guy lives up to his name in more ways than one.
Love Bug loves being around his people and would do best in a forever home where his family is home more than they are gone. As his foster mom, I have
seen him grow exponentially in just a short time. Love bug has shown that he can learn the rules of the house quickly and diligently. He is completely house broken and will let you know when he needs to go outside.
Love bug gets along well with both, adults and children. He does very well with female dogs and males with proper introduction. However, he has been known
to chase cats.
Love bug is still learning how to relax in his kennel, when first placed in there. After a few minutes, with some soothing words of comfort and the realization that you are not leaving forever, he will gladly lay down and wait for your return.
This guy loves to be on your lap, but will also be content with just laying at your feet. He knows sit, lay down, and is working on shake. With continued training and support I am sure he will be able to learn many more commands. Love bug loves stuffed animals and enjoys cuddling with them while in his kennel.
We do believe Love Bug has some allergies and will be starting him on some allergy medication.
This joyful guy is looking for the perfect forever family to complete his love of life.

Lovebug’s adoption fee is $125, and adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad City Area.
