Meet Floyd
Floyd is a handsome, loving guy who is looking for a foster or forever home.
Floyd is the kind of guy that just wants to lounge around, keep his people company, and enjoy life now that he’s safe and has food and shelter. He is extremely calm, good hearted and well behaved. He’s an easy keeper who is super clean and just an easy guy to have all around. But he definitely wasn’t always able to just hang out and lounge around- he had a rough past for sure.
Floyd was accidentally trapped by a gentleman who brought Floyd to a local vets office for care because of the shape he was in. It became clear over the next day or two that while Floyd had obviously been on the streets for awhile, he was a loving house cat at heart.
Floyd suffered injuries to his front legs, neck and face. All wounds have healed but he is still growing his fur back and looks a little rough because of it. Floyd has crumpled up ears (sort of like a British curl look but definitely not intentional). They are the result of past hematomas that he probably had a few of in his life. We think it gives him personality and since his ears are pristine inside and free of infection, he isn’t impacted negatively from his curled ears.
Floyd seems to be fine with other cats and would probably do fine with more quiet tempered dogs as well. He’d also be fine with children and loves having his belly rubbed.
