Lily Pomeranian & Spitz Mix Haymarket, VA

Please meet Lily! She is approx. 4 yrs old, she has a pomeranian face with japanese spitz size (20 lbs). She is slightly overweight and currently on weight management diet. She was adopted about 1 year ago and just returned due to her owner developing allergy.
She is very loving girl, likes to be pet showing her belly but at times she tries to nip if she feels uncertain. So being able to read her body ( mouth) would be helpful when to stop petting her and give her time.
She is in heaven if she has balls to play with. But she can get too excited and carried away and be a bit obsessive over it. Same for food. She is not bad at all if you can read dog body language and use balls or treats to train her. She is a small dog and they can get too hyped if they really like something.
She isnt interested in other dogs. She is fine with all dogs and a cat in a foster home but initially when they get close to her to sniff her, she can nip or bark at them. Some dogs take this as a threat and it can lead to a fight. But she does just fine with other dogs in a home environment. She wouldn't do well in a dog park environment. She is pee pad trained but she also does outside. She has high pitch barking sound and doesnt bark too much but she will benefit from speak, quiet command if you can teach her that.
All in all, she is a fun, VERY sweet girl but would be a better fit for someone who knows a small dog with some training experience.
