Meet Copper

Introducing a smart, food motivated fella who loves to play and run, run, run in our play yard! This is COPPER! Volunteers tell us Copper is a great walker on his leash, sits for treats, listens very well and overall is a GREAT dog! Volunteers have also described Copper as small but very active and high energy! He loves playing fetch and volunteers feel he could learn just about anything! Can you tell this furry fella is a volunteer favorite? Staff has found Copper does have a prey drive so they suggest no silly felines in the home. Copper will benefit from lots of exercise! Staff suggests a potential family that has cattle dog experience. Staff has also noticed possible resource guarding on food but he is improving. Canine siblings and human siblings based on meet and greet. If you are interested in adopting Copper, please ask staff how you can get to know him in our play yard! The play yard is his happy place (he does not show well in his kennel).
