Patrick & Big Daddy Bichon Frise Centreville, VA

Patrick and Big Daddy are two very sweet, loving 10 year-old, Bichon Frises. They share a birthday, but they were born in different litters raised by the same breeder. They have never been separated and have been best friends their entire lives. Patrick is a bit lanky, loves to be held, relaxes with complete trust when picked up (like a rag doll), and is pretty active. Big Daddy also loves affection, although he is not as trusting when being picked up. Big Daddy is stout, barrel-chested, and has an adorable, inquisitive look about him. He also has a tendency to watch feet carefully since he is not as quick-footed as Patrick. Big Daddy also has an endearing habit of lifting up his front left leg with a tilt to his head when he's talked to or is waiting for something. They love to be brushed, fed (especially treats), and go for walks. They are good walkers on the leash and have learned how to lift their feet when the leash gets underneath them. They spend much of the day sleeping on their beds next to each other. They also love sleeping in their crates at night, and happily go in them when the rest of the family has to leave the house. Their routine includes 4 regular walks a day, with a few others sprinkled in when necessary. An ideal home would be one where they will be kept together, have someone to let them out regularly, and gives them love, affection, and care. They have been around children and lived with a big dog. The family wish they could keep them but are being sent overseas and will be unable to properly care for them.
