Meet Kierra
Hi! I’m Kierra! You may recognize me from the rescue community! I’m the celebrity Dog Mom who had 12 healthy puppies, known as the Dozen Pirate Pups! Boy does, motherhood change a gal..both physically and mentally! My Foster parents say I’m the BEST mom though!
Not much is known about my past except I have quite a few scars on me and I was found extremely malnourished and pregnant! I was found tied to a tree with a rope during a blizzard on a dirt road in Abilene that is notoriously known for dumping dogs. My foster parents are working really hard with me not only on gaining weight, but also working on my manners and trust!
The Vet thinks I’m only 2-3 years old and by the looks of me, you'd think Ridgeback or lab, well I'm mostly Mastiff & Aussie, according to my DNA test!!! I currently weigh about 45lbs!
I came to my foster parents quite fearful and uncomfortable..who wouldn’t with 12 babies in them! I’m working on being polite with other animals and new people! I have started training with MuttSchool and have learned lots of new tricks like sit, stay, come, heel and even crawl!
I’m looking for my fur-ever home who understands that I will need extra love and consistency to continue to gain trust! As of right now, I would not want to be around kids or other animals until I become more comfortable and know that I’m safe! I will be ready for adoption after my babies are weaned and I’m spayed in about 5-6 weeks!

If so, Kierra is your girl! This sweet 4 year old red-head is looking for love! She was recently breed DNA tested, and look at the cool breed she is mixed with!
She is the current MuttSchool Mascot and her job duties include greeting all her puppy friends, showing off her training skills, and making everyone smile!
With proper introduction, she is great with dogs! She would do well in a home with other dogs or as the solo queen of the house!
