Hi there! My name is Patches! I'm about a year old and roughly 40 lbs Blue Heeler, I'm a medium dog with a big heart! I loved everyone in my foster family from the instant I met them including their great big German Shepherd female Sheba. I really love Sheba, and want her to play with me and cuddle with me constantly so i will love a home with another furry friend for me to play with. I like to give lots of kisses and get lots of pets from the humans but I wasn't treated very well in the past and I'm scared sometimes. I don't like being the boss and I will roll over and show you my belly if I'm nervous. I can tell if you are nervous or sad too, and I will come and comfort you right away without being asked. I haven't been around cats much but I didn't chase the neighbors cat either. I'm crate trained and house broken, though I ask to go potty very very gently so please pay attention. I love to get things for you that you may have left behind like your shoe, a slipper or an oven mitt, etc. I walk well on a leash also. I do like to be near my family at bedtime or I get very sad. I am gentle but I do like to jump and give gentle hugs. I really love hugs. I do need some training but I'm very smart and eager to please with or without treats.
