Bison Greater Swiss Mountain Dog & Shepherd Mix Sparta, WI

Meet Bison! Bison is a 1-2 year old male Greater Swiss Mountain Dog mix who is looking for his new forever home!
Bison was found as a stray, so we do not know what his life was like prior to being found.
Bison is a happy, playful, goofy boy with tons of energy and zest for life! He's still a puppy at heart, and has no idea how big he is, so his ideal family would be one that can commit to his exercise and training needs. He's smart, treat motivated and eager to please, so we think he'll be a great dog to train with! He'd also be a fantastic running buddy! Although he may need help learning how to walk better on leash, he would love a daily walk as well!
So far we think Bison would do well with another dog as long as their personalities and energy levels work well together. We also think he would do well with kids, but he is big and a bit jumpy still, so his owners should supervise him around the smaller kids so he doesn't accidentally knock them down.
Bison seems to be potty trained, but because he's still young we do recommend a refresher course in his new home.
