Buddy is an adorable 8 year old orange and white cat who we think had a really rough life before coming to us. When first coming to us, when you reached out to pet him the first thing is did was hiss and flinch away. We kept at it though and within a minute of petting he would start leaning his head into rubs, and then purring, and then he would get all excited and his butt goes straight up in the air and he rubs his head forward into whatever is in front of him.

Basically, we are pretty sure that this super sweet guy has been abused at some point in his past, and he needs a loving and patient home that will give him the time and attention that he needs to trust and love again. He has made great strides in foster care, and we are sure that whoever is willing to give him a chance is going to end up with the sweetest lap cat ever!
He's about 8 years old. He is good with other cats, and also seems to really like older kids who are calm and loving with him.

He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, negative for FeLV and FIV, microchipped and flea treated.
