4 Month Old Brown Velvet Female Chinchilla Kit (Baby) Chinchilla Chinchilla Wolcott, IN

We have a brown velvet female chinchilla who’s looking for her new home. She came to NWI just a bit ago, and we have down that she was born around 10/10/18, which makes her right around 4 months old – a great time to make her an addition to your home!

Her color is called brown velvet, which is a chocolate-y brown color over her back, with a white belly. Brown velvets aren’t a color you come across all the time, so she’s something unique!

This girl is spunky and energetic… she has energy for days! She’s never going to be a cuddlebuddy for you, but she’s so pretty and cute that we forgive her! She can definitely be handled and petted, and she does settle down a bit when you’re holding her, but we get the feeling she’s rather be doing playtime than doing something so boring as snuggling. Come on, there’s way cooler things to do! Sweet girl though, doesn’t bite.

Oh, did I mention, on occasion, she LOVES getting scritches?? How precious!

She would make a great “first chinchilla” for someone who’s never had one before, as long as they understand that she is more of an active chinchilla.

This chinchilla is currently caged alone. However, if you interested in pairing her up with your, or one of our, chinchillas, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

This chinchilla will come with some food to start you out (Tradition pellets), a goodie bag of chews/treats, and a printed out version of our care packet. She will also come with a lifetime of help and support, should you ever need it. If more supplies are needed, we also sell a variety of chinchilla supplies, from cages to hidey houses to hammocks and everything in between.

Regardless of past chinchilla experience, all potential homes will be asked to read our chinchilla care packet and fill out our adoption application/chinchilla questionnaire. If you are unwilling to do this, please do not waste our time or yours. No chinchilla will go to a new home without an adoption application being filled out - no exceptions.
