Emma Schnauzer Du Quoin, IL

Emma is a sweet little Schnauzer who is 13 years old. She loves to be held and is potty-trained. She is currently in a foster home, so an approved application is needed for a meeting. She is doing very well in her foster home, according to her foster mom. She is very lady-like and quiet inside. She loves to explore the yard when she's outside. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. She does fine when she needs to be crated, but also does great running loose in the house. She sleeps through the night and has had NO accidents in the house!

This sweet girl had been with the same person since she was born, until now. She is adjusting well considering her whole life has been uprooted. We are proud of her for having the ability to adapt to her new life!

Please know that if you come to meet any of the dogs at our facility, they may be excited to see you and extra active. Many times, this is not a true picture of how they may act in a warm, safe home setting. We, as volunteers, often take our shelter dogs on home visits and they become calm and act like completely different animals. This pertains to potty habits and demeanor. Please realize that they need a chance to shine out of the shelter setting!
