Meet Joey
All of our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Meet our Joey. When Joey came to us he had a lot of built up frustration towards other dogs from being under socialized. Because of this he was very intense toward other dogs and would chase them down in the yards. After working with socializing him around other dogs he is now great! We now feel confident that he would do great with another dog in the home, if introduced correctly. He has been in a yard with large and small dogs and showed no signs of aggression. We do feel strongly that his adopters enroll him into some kind of training because he is still very much a puppy. Although he has made great progress with dogs we do not feel comfortable placing him in a home with cats. Joey loves people and has done great with the children he has met during his stay in the shelter. A little bit of time and patience and Joey will be a wonderful addition to a family.
