Meet Sweet Pea
Sweet Pea is an indoor-outdoor cat who has been mostly outdoors. He lived with the same people in Monterey for seven years and is approximately 9 years old. Due to family circumstances, he now needs a new loving home.
He is good-natured and affectionate, but not needy. He is independent but does like to have people around. Sweet Pea will sometimes sleep with his people depending on his mood, and maybe on how cold it is.
This kitty is initially shy, but once he bonds with you, he wants to be petted, held, and sit on your lap. He loves to be brushed and will try to talk to you and tell you what he needs. Sweet Pea has been the only pet in an all-adult household but would likely be okay with respectful children and some other cats. He doesn’t care for dogs.
Sweet Pea is a long-hair, Himalayan mix and quite handsome. He doesn’t scratch or bite. He was particularly attached to the man in the house.
