When 1-year-old Lucille and her brother, Desi, arrived at the Humane Society, they were in pretty tough shape. Two weeks of delectable healthy nutrition and the caring, loving compassion of HS volunteers reignited the spark of optimism as Lucille and her brother, Desi, began to hold their heads high as they once again walked with confidence and pride. Watching their recovery and their peaceful acceptance of their journey filled all the HS volunteers with gratitude and wonder. The courage that our canine friends reveal is a true gift that is intended for every human. Lucille has a high-energy motor complimented with a laid-back, easy-going attitude toward life which both she and her "alike-as-peas-in-a-pod" brother share. Lucille is a bark park friend to every canine she has ever met. Both Lucille and Desi are up for adoption at the Humane Society for Animals in Rogers, AR.
