Mia, who is a 5 lb. bundle of joy has been in our home for 2 weeks now and is a shinning example of the Velcro Dog. She is with you almost all the time and will either be in your lap, next to you or following you at your heels wherever you go. She is a very sweet, lovable dog who is somewhat timid but has a lot of love to give and will give it to you 24/7.
She gets along with our other dogs very well and is willingly to share us with them. She will let you know most of the time when she has to go out but you need to be alert. She is crate trained but prefers to be with you. She has been left alone for a few hours and not had a problem, but she does prefer to be with you. She walks well on a leash and seems to ride well in the car.
When she came to Canine Castaways she was pregnant with 4 puppies but lost them all, so her recent history has been traumatic but she seems to be adjusting well now. She will be a loving addition to anyone's home and will give you a life-time of love and affection.
